At Hoist Parts, Inc., our goal is to ensure every part you order is the right fit for your equipment. We take pride in providing exceptional service, which includes detailed part verification and qualification before any order is processed. Because of the technical nature of our products and the custom requirements of many crane and hoist systems, all returns and refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
How Our Process Works

Before any order is finalized, our parts team works directly with you to:

Verify model and serial numbers

Confirm part compatibility

Identify any custom or application-specific requirements

Discuss availability and lead time

This extensive pre-order process helps prevent errors and ensures that you receive the correct part the first time.
Return Eligibility

Because many of our parts are:

Special-order or made-to-order

Subject to manufacturer return restrictions

Installed in safety-critical applications

…not all parts are eligible for return or refund.

If you believe you need to return a part, please contact us within 7 business days of receiving your order. A Parts Manager will review your request based on the following:

Whether the part was incorrectly ordered or shipped

The condition of the part (must be unused and in original packaging)

Whether the part is returnable to the manufacturer

Any restocking fees imposed by the supplier

Shipping cost recovery (original and return)

We will always do our best to work with you when a return is necessary, but we reserve the right to decline returns in cases where the part was correctly supplied and matched your provided specifications.
Refunds

If a return is approved, your refund (less any applicable restocking fees or shipping charges) will be processed once:

The returned part is received

It has been inspected by our team

It is confirmed to meet return eligibility

Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Please allow 5–7 business days after approval for the refund to appear.
Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or if we shipped the wrong item, please notify us within 3 business days. We will work quickly to resolve the issue and send a replacement or process a return authorization at no cost to you.

Important Notes

Do not return any parts without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned at the sender’s expense.

Custom, electrical, or special-order parts may not be returnable. These items are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
